One Day Mindfulness of Breathing Meditation Retreat

Beginning and experienced meditators are welcome
Participants will enjoy:
Introduction and Dharma Talks with time for questions and discussion.
Sitting and walking meditation for beginning and experienced meditators.
Covered dish vegetarian lunch, provided by members of the Lakeland Meditation Group.
Wonderful mediators who have common values.
Course Taught by Andy Quinn
Andy has practiced meditation for more than twenty five years and taught meditation for six years. He has attended many long retreats at the Insight Meditation Society (IMS) in Barre, Massachusetts, in the community of vipassana meditation as taught by SN Goenka, and with Orlando Insight Meditation Group (OMIG.) Andy was introduced to Vipassana meditation by Peter Carlson, the founder of OMIG. Andy has been in teacher training with Peter since 2014.
Fees/Donations
This retreat will be based on donations, generosity. Generosity is an important part of meditation practice. Generosity has a tendency to open one’s heart, connect one to others and help one to let go of self consciousness. For this retreat donations are for the teachings, and to assist with facility fees and food supplies.
